MM2H Visa Extension

The extension procedure applies to a participant who does not receive the full duration of the 5-year (10-year for those who obtained MM2H before 2021) MM2H Visa because of short validity period of their passport at the time of endorsement. Participants may claim the remaining period upon the passport renewal.

The extension process will take 1 working day.

If you are staying in Malaysia and wish to renew your passport there, you can apply for a visa extension after the renewal of your passport.

*Please take note that you will not be able to leave Malaysia without completing the MM2H Visa extension process in your new passport.

If you renew your passport outside Malaysia, you can enter Malaysia to apply for a visa extension after the renewal of your passport.

You may apply for the MM2H extension procedure through us even if you obtained the MM2H Visa through other agents.
You must be in Malaysia.
The extension period for dependents is limited to the same period of the principal.
Children will only be given extension up to 34 years old and they must be unmarried.

Required documents for MM2H Visa Extension

1. MM2H Visa Conditional Approval Letter (copy)
2. Old passport (physical)
3. New passport (physical)
4. Application forms
5. Passport size color photo (3.5 x 5.0cm) x 1 pc
With white or blue background.
6. Principal’s passport (copy)
Required for dependents' extension applications.
7. Principal’s MM2H Visa page (copy)
Required for dependents' extension applications.
8. Marriage certificate
Required for the spouse's extension application.
9. Birth certificate
Required for the children's extension application.
10. Single status certificate
Required for the application of the children over 19 years old. It is obtained from a notary public in Malaysia. We can obtain it on your behalf.
11. Personal bond
We will prepare it for you.
12. Release letter
Required if MM2H Visa was obtained via another agent. We will prepare it for you.
13. Police report
Required if the old passport is lost. It is obtained at a police station in Malaysia. We can obtain it on your behalf.

Application procedure for MM2H Visa Extension

You will need to stay in Malaysia at least 3 days. Let us know your itinerary of stay and your hotel location in advance.

Payment

Payment for our support fee can be made via bank transfer or Paypal.

STEP.3

Necessary Documents Preparation

Email us required documents and we will start preparing the necessary documents.

STEP.4

Passport Hand Over

We will take your passport and get you sign application forms. If you are outside Malaysia, please enter Malaysia.

STEP.5

Submission

We will submit your application to the Immigration Malaysia.
*Visa fee is subject to RM500 per year.

FINISH

Endorsement

The extended visa sticker is endorsed in your new passport and we will return your passports. Please make your payment for the visa fees.

Fees for MM2H Visa Extension

Fees	RM2,000 Accompanying family members applying the extension at the same time： Additional RM500 / person (*From second applicant onwards)

Visa fees are not included (RM500 x years of extension).
If submit after the expiry date, you will need to pay RM520 / person for the Journey Performed (JP) Visa.
If the MM2H Visa is obtained via another agent, there is an additional fee for applying for a security bond (RM10) and for obtaining a release letter from the agent (usually around RM300).
If we obtain Single Status Certificate or Police Report on your behalf, extra charges of RM216 each will be charged. The Single Status Certificate will also incur an additional application fee (usually around RM10 / person).
