MM2H Visa Termination

If you plan to leave Malaysia before your MM2H visa expires, are no longer interested in the programme, or need to withdraw your entire fixed deposit, you can request to terminate your MM2H and withdraw from the programme. In the event of the principal visa holder's death, the MM2H must be terminated (No procedure is required if the visa dependents pass away).

You can apply for the termination procedure through us, even if you originally applied for the MM2H visa through another agent.

Required Documents for MM2H Visa Termination

1. Letter of Intent (Original)
2. Passport (Physical and Copy)
An original passport is not required for remote applications from outside Malaysia.
3. MM2H Visa Page (Copy)
4. Approval Letter (Copy)
5. Fixed Deposit Certificate (Copy)
6. Bank Lien Letter (Copy)
7. Flight Ticket or Booking Confirmation (Copy)
The departure date must be within one month of the date of document submission. Not required for remote applications from outside Malaysia.
8. Most Recent Malaysian Exit Stamp From Your Passport (Copy) *For remote applications only
Required for remote applications from outside Malaysia.
9. Death Certificate and Last Will (Copy)
Required if the principal visa holder is deceased.

Submission & Issuance of Termination Letter

We will submit your application to the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC). Issuance of the termination letter typically takes about one week. For remote applications from outside Malaysia, the letter will be provisional at this stage.

Request Cancellation of MM2H

We will process the cancellation of your MM2H visa at the MM2H centre, where we will take your original passport.
For remote applications from outside Malaysia, you MUST be present at the Malaysian Embassy and submit the required documents to revoke your MM2H visa.

For remote applications from outside Malaysia, we will conduct a second document submission at MOTAC. It takes approximately one week to issue a termination letter.

We will submit documents to the Immigration Unit for MM2H cancellation.

Fixed Deposit & Saving Deposit Withdrawal

Fixed Deposit & Saving Deposit Withdrawal

We will accompany you to the bank to complete the procedures for withdrawing and terminating your time deposit. We will then close your savings account and arrange for the funds to be transferred to an account outside Malaysia.
For remote applications from outside Malaysia, we will act on your behalf. However, for remittance procedures outside Malaysia, you may need to complete these steps yourself, as we may not be able to do so on your behalf.
