MM2H Visa Extension

The extension procedure applies to participants who did not receive the full duration of the 5-year (or 10-year for those who obtained MM2H before 2021) MM2H visa due to the short validity period of their passport at the time of endorsement. Participants may claim the remaining period after renewing their passport.

The extension process will take 1 working day.

If you are staying in Malaysia and plan to renew your passport there, you can apply for a visa extension after renewing your passport.

*Please note that you will not be able to leave Malaysia until the MM2H visa extension process is completed and endorsed in your new passport.

If you renew your passport outside Malaysia, you can re-enter Malaysia to apply for a visa extension after the passport renewal.

  • You may apply for the MM2H extension through us even if you originally obtained the visa through another agent.
  • You must be in Malaysia to apply.
  • The extension period for dependents is limited to the same period as the principal applicant.
  • Children will only be granted an extension up to the age of 34, and they must remain unmarried.
